She has taught students with a wide range of learning differences and she’s raised two daughters, including one whose neurodivergent mind brings a beautifully unique perspective, so she knows every brain blooms in its own way.
Today, Shelley writes playful, brain-boosting books for kids, teens, and adults under her Blooming Wits label. Whether she’s helping a kindergartener master sight words, a teen gear up for life after high school, or a grown-up spark fresh curiosity, her mission is clear: grow your mind at any age.

Ann is a communications and publishing professional with more than two decades of experience in writing, public relations, and content strategy. She has worked across education, wellness, and creative industries helping brands tell stories that connect, inform, and inspire.

With her background in communications and her love for meaningful storytelling, Ann brings structure, creativity, and care to every page she works on, turning information into inspiration and transforming learning into a lasting experience.

Sheri is a veteran first-grade teacher and early literacy expert with over two decades of classroom experience. During her years teaching young readers, she developed her own structured phonics program designed to make reading easier, faster, and more joyful for beginning learners. ​
Sheri's approach is classroom-tested and proven effective across diverse learners, earning her recognition as a curriculum specialist and teacher trainer.
As the co-creator of the Alphabet Guy series and lead developer of its phonics instruction, Sheri brings both heart and expertise to every book she helps write. Her passion for foundational literacy, creative teaching, and empowering kids through reading is at the core of everything she creates for Blooming Wits.

Brittney is a master of survival, especially when it comes to sketchy apartments, burnt toast, and the emotional rollercoaster of early adulthood. She’s an actress, a bartender, a former reality TV escapee (don’t ask), and now an author.
Known for her deadpan delivery and spicy sense of humor, Brittney writes the way she lives: unscripted, unfiltered, and a little bit chaotic.
